The Horry County School Board voted 11-1 Monday night to ban CRT curriculum in the district’s classrooms. However, CRT is often a graduate-level concept and wasn’t taught in any K-12 classroom in South Carolina, according to reports from the Sun News in Myrtle Beach. Reports also show that there was no reaction from the crowd after the resolution passed, a stark contrast to protests and standing-room only school board meetings that have made national and local headlines since last year....

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the settlement, the largest ever under the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976, on Thursday. In addition to the monetary penalty, the company will also be required to conduct “a comprehensive, corporate-wide program” to verify that contractors and firms it hires in the future are trained and certified to conduct work under lead paint safety guidelines. “Today’s settlement will significantly reduce children’s exposure to lead paint hazards,” Susan Bodine, assistant administrator for the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, said in a statement....

In the new trailer entitled “Meet the Scorcher,” some of Horizon: Zero Dawn’s development team show players what the new robot has in store for them.
