Once players approach the Vista Tower in Plainsong, they’ll need to use Aloy’s focus ability by pressing in the right control stick. Scan the base of the Vista Point tower, and this will give Aloy a fuzzy image that will need to be lined up with a location in the open world. Luckily, players can use this guide to find the Vista Point image and complete the Vista Tower in Plainsong.

Find Where the Vista Image Was Taken
After scanning the Vista Point tower in Plainsong, players will want to search directly south/southwest to find the Vista Image point. Follow the path up the mountain, and then climb some walls to reach a rundown area that looks like a ruined vantage point. If players look out towards the open field, they should have a giant windmill to their left and what looks like giant broken antennas or satellite dishes in the rubble.
Horizon Forbidden West players can use the image above to see the exact location of the Vista Tower image. There’s another ledge like this a little closer to the ground level on the mountain, but players need to skip that one and keep heading further up to the one shown in the image below. Aloy will also mumble something to herself about being in the right spot once players make it to the correct lookout point.
Click in the right stick on the controller and try to match the image to the real (in-game) world to finish the Vista Tower side mission. Upon completion of the activity, Aloy will receive XP that, if enough is earned, will level up Aloy and give her more skill points to unlock new abilities in the menu.
Horizon Forbidden West is available now for PS4 and PS5.
