The gameplay trailer shows off Aloy in a variety of challenging situations, coming at each one full force with her vast arsenal of weapons. The trailer is flashy and fast-paced, and while it doesn’t do much to further what fans know about Horizon Forbidden West, it does at least build up some more excitement for the upcoming game, though fans might have wanted something a bit meatier.

Luckily, there’s not much longer until fans get their hands on Horizon Forbidden West. Slated to release in February, Horizon is just a little over two months away, barring any delays on the project. Sony has taken special care to paint just how vibrant and bold the new game will be versus the last one, which is pretty impressive considering how well-received the original was.
Hopefully, the new game will be just as impactful as the first one was, as 2022 will be full of competition for Horizon to square off with. But with any luck, the franchise will be able to repeat its success from the first time around.
